The director of the National Library, Diomedes Nunez Polanco said the late payment of wages to three employees of this institution will be resolved by Thursday. He noted that as of the date the employee regularly charged, denying that mass cancellations have been made. Clarified that an austerity plan that should benefit all state institutions, the result of recent agreements with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Nunez Polanco admitted that the National Library has a late payment of payroll amount of which amounts to RD $ 15.8 billion and a debt to the Treasury of the Social Security of RD $ 2.9 million, which were made by the President of the Republic through the Budget.
