activities ADRU Universities stand inaugurate the book fair starts today

This year 12 universities will attend the International Book Fair under the stand of the ADRU (Dominican Association of University Presidents)

During the opening ceremony, which was attended by many authorities in the various universities represented, the Priest Freddy de la Cruz and Dr. Angel Hernandez (UAPA) gave opening remarks and attendees were treated to a folk dance.

La Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU) initiated this exhibition with the presence of several medical students taking the pressure of all participants to stand.

During the 18 days of the fair, each of the universities represented in this stand, they will be informing and promoting the academic offerings of the twelve institutions through specialized staff. La Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU) will be present on 11 and 21 May from 15:00 to 21:00.

Over 440 exhibitors from 33 countries will participate in the XIV International Book Fair of Santo Domingo, to be held Wednesday from 4 to May 22 , but open to the public from day five, which on this occasion is the guest of honor to the Holy See.

The literary event is dedicated to the English Jesuit Bishop Francisco José Arnaiz, Bishop Emeritus of Santo Domingo, and the local priest and writer José Luis Sáez and held also the 500 years of incorporation of the diocese of Santo Domingo and the province's Vega, in the north.
